Óbuda University participated The fifth edition of European Robotics forum as a member of euRoboticsaisbland also as a competitor of the ERF 2014 Entrepreneurship workshop, represented by DrTamásHaidegger, deputy director of the AntalBejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics.

Approving the proposal of the Minister of Human Resources, János Áder, the President of the Republic of Hungary appointed János Fodor, Prof., the new Rector of Óbuda University today by ceremonially conferring the official appointment documents at the Sándor Palace, the office of the President. Dr. Fodor will assume his new position on April 26, 2014 and will serve a renewable four-year term.

Óbuda University held an Opening Ceremony on 7th February 2014 for the Brazilian students of the 2013/14 cross-semester. Those students participated in the opening ceremony who have started the cross semester in English language at four different departments of the University.

8th International Symposium on Applied Informatics and Related Areas took place in Alba Regia University Centre of Óbuda University, Székesfehérvár, Hungary, in the frame of Hungarian Science Festival 2013.

Under a cooperation agreement between the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University and Óbuda University twelve students participate in the Alba Regia University Center of an intensive course.

The Science Without Borders program is a scholarship opportunity that was funded by the Brazilian government. This scholarship allows 100 000 participants of master and doctors program in nature – engineering – health and information sciences for Brazilian students between 2012 and 2015. Total training costs and expenses of the students are covered by the Brazilian government.
