Research collaboration between the Physiological Controls Research Center and the Frank Doyle Research Group of Harvard University

The head of the EKIK Physiological Controls Research Center (PhysCon) was invited between 6-8 August 2018 by the Doyle Group of the John A. Paulson Schools of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), Harvard University, USA.

On the first Saturday of April, the Mobility Department of Óbuda University organised a study trip to the international students to the Devecser-Noszlop region of Hungary.  Almost 100 students were interested in the event.

A taste of Algeria

Now it has become a tradition of Óbuda University to support the wide range of social events. On Thursday March 29, was held the Algerian event. Thanks to Algerian students in collaboration with Mobility Department we could know much more about this country. The event started at 18:00 and took place at the main hall of our university in Doberdó ut 6. The attendance was relatively high with a number of participants around 100, among them representatives from university and guests invited from our Algerian students.

Based on the Óbuda University EKIK Physiological Research Center’s (PhysCon) invitation, in contribution with IEEE Hungary Section and the Hungarian Artificial Pancreas Workgroup, Dr. Eyal Dassau, senior researcher of Harvard University and top researcher of the artificial pancreas research topic of the world, visited Hungary on 19th of February, 2018 and had an invited talk at Óbuda University. The title of his presentation was “The Artificial Pancreas: A Medically Inspired Automated Glucose Control System”.
