Conference INES 2021

Conference IEEE 25th International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems (INES 2021) was organized by Óbuda University, IEEE Hungary Section and Hungarian Fuzzy Association on July 7-9, 2021.

INES (Intelligent Engineering Systems) conference series had been launched in Budapest in 1997, and since that time it has been organized in various countries all over the world. Because of the pandemic, this year participants could join the meeting via Zoom, which provided the communication platform for the Opening Ceremony, the plenary talk and the regular sessions. In the welcome speech Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, General Chair of INES 2021, emphasized the role and importance of the conference in the scientific area, he highlighted the achievements of co-operations between higher educational and industrial institutions, and he acknowledged the hard job done by the authors, reviewers and organizers. Dr. Tamás Haidegger, IEEE Hungary Section Chair, gave a talk about the great collaboration with IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and its societies, which ensures the high-level judgement of the conference. Papers of the proceedings receive ISBN and DOI numbers from IEEE, and they could be included into Xplore database after deep check.

Prof. Dr. Rudolf Andoga, professor of Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, delivered his plenary talk entitled “Perspective Algorithms in Control of Turbojet Engines”.

According to the nationality of authors, 11 countries were represented, which shows a great international attendance. Probably next year the venue in Kenya will attract more authors and participants.
